West Hills History
The area now known as West Hills was previously part of Canoga Park. The affluence on the west end was greater and more of the real estate featured upscale homes and valley vistas. Homeowners voted to rename the area and were rewarded with increased property values. West Hills was created sometime between 1988 and 1990.
